CPAGB Awards
Congratulations go to Keith Hurst and Tim Walton who were recently awarded CPAGB.
Biggleswade & DCC are just part of a vast network of clubs that make up the East Anglian Federation of Photographic Societies (EAF). There are currently 119 member clubs. The EAF is affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB) which is made up of the clubs of 15 geographical regions. The PAGB has strong links with similar organisations in different countries throughout the world through its membership of FIAP (The International Federation of Photographic Art). You can get lots more information about what they both do from their websites:
EAF http://www.eafphotoclubs.co.uk/
PAGB http://www.pagb-photography-uk.co.uk/

Here you will see information about the various member clubs, what's on, competitions and their results, awards, etc.
Honorary Members
The committee has decided to award Honorary Membership to a number of long serving members of the club, who have given tireless service for up to 35 years. They are Bryan Spokes, Chris Davies and Jill Osborne. Pat Phillips, past Secretary and also an honorary member of the club, sent a warm message of congratulations to them (read by the Chairman during the AGM) as she was unable to attend this evening. Honorary members will be listed listed on the front of the new programme and their badges suitably annotated.
Photographic Outings
Leigh Wood is organising a number of photographic outings over the next 12 months, the first of which is likely to be Saturday 6 June to London South Bank area, further details will follow shortly. Please support this new venture if you are able to attend.
Season Poster
David Grummitt's latest publicity poster can be downloaded here. If anyone can display one in a local shop/noticeboard, etc then please print it off and spread the word.
Website Update
The website is been updated, especially the results, inter-club competitions and gallery. This should make it easier to maintain in the future. Any problems should be reported to Peter Darby
