Round 2 - Biggleswade vs Ware
Wednesday 26 November 2008 at Ware
"A group of 7 of us went to support the club. Ware were the winners of the competition last year so we were not feeling very confident. We were winning at the half way stage, but after a run of five 20/20s for the last five Biggleswade images the final score was Ware 441, Biggleswade 456 For Biggleswade, 20/20 was scored by Thom Hanahoe (2), Leigh Wood (2), Peter Darby, Keith Hurst, Dave Tyler, Bunty Kay, Tim Walton and Ron Huckle. Obviously we have a great set of images which stand a good chance of going further in the competition. The third round will be at Biggleswade on 15 January and we will be playing whoever wins the Round 2 match between Stevenage and St Neots, which is played on 8 December at Stevenage." - Tim

"We had a very good turn-out last Thursday from both our own members and visitors from St Neots. The semi-final was won by Biggleswade with a score of 400 points against St Neots 380. Round 4 - Biggleswade vs Cambridge
Saturday 14 March 2009 at Foxton Village Hall
"On Saturday Biggleswade &DCC took part in the final of the Melbourn Cup Digital Image Competition against Cambridge CC. We had made it through the 3 heats beating Melbourn, Ware and St Neots. In the end Biggleswade were narrowly beaten by just 4 points. The winner of the print competition was Gamlingay PS. It looks, from the draw, that we have all of our matches at home in the 2009-10 competition, which has its good and bad points. It is easier for those members who do not like to travel to attend, but it does take up 3 meetings that could otherwise be used for other activities. This is assuming that we get through those rounds. If we are knocked out early then they will be member's evenings." - Tim
